INS Khanderi is the second of Indian Navy's six kalvari-class submarines being built in India. It is a diesel-electric attack submarine which was designed by DCNS and manufactured at Mazagon Dock Limited in Mumbai. It was launched at 12 January 2017 and commissioned on 28 September 2019. It also known as S-22. It's length is 67.5m(221ft) and height 12.5m(40ft) with beam 6.2m(20ft). It's speed at surface is 11kn(20km/h) and n water 20kn(37km/h). The range is 6500nmi(12000km) at 8kn(15km/h){SURFACED}and 550nmi(1020km)at 4kn(7.4km/h){IN WATER}. Endurance approximately 50 days. Test dept at 350meter. It used C303/3 anti-torpedo countermeasure system. Propulsion used 4 x MTU 12V 396 SE84 diesel engines and 360 x battery cells.
